Withdrawable unit design MCC 2001
RITTER, withdrawable unit panels are used where a lot of consumers, primarily motors, have to be supplied with power in a centralized manner. The MCC modules are designed as functional units which can be replaced without isolating of the switchgear.

Module surface
The maximum number of modules adds up to 36 pieces distributed into 9 rows.
  • Size A - quarter row
  • Size B - half row
  • Size 1 - entire row
  • Size 2 - two rows
Panel construction
The vertical busbar is fitted in the rear part of the standard frame. An intermediate wall with clamps for the control bars and cable holders separates the module compartment. The module compartment is subdivided into closed compartments with insertable module floors. The control plug-in connectors and the tier terminal strip are fitted on the floor of the module. A main contact is fitted on the back as the exit from the module. For small withdrawable units, a cassette, which divides the row into two or four compartments, is used in place of the module floor. The cable connection compartment is closed off with a separate door. The module-, cable- and busbar compartment are compartmentalized among each other in such a way, that internal accidental arcing are limited to the particular compartment in case of inner faults

MCC Module
The MCC modules are made up of sheet steel parts. The input and output contracts are secured to the back wall. The sheet steel parts of devices and slide runners carry out the carrying function; the front board is also secured to the former. Modules from size 1 are moved with the aid of crank system and have a control contract (maximum 30 poles) at the side.
Modules of size A and B are moved by hand with their control and main contacts being grouped together in a contact unit. All the modules are fitted with a load disconnector main switch for AC 23.
