RITTER Starkstromtechnik invests in start-up company
Munich-based start-up company Wirelane receives 4 million euros

Dortmund, November 14th, 2018
The Munich-based start-up Wirelane receives a Series A financing of four million euros. In addition to Vito Ventures, which is backed by Viessmann, Coparion, High-Tech Gründerfonds and Ritter Starkstromtechnik are participating in the financing round.

Wirelane is a full-service provider that offers its customers not only software solutions but also a specially developed charging station. The fresh capital will be used to further advance the development of software and hardware for setting up charging infrastructure for electric vehicles. The investors believe in the future of electric vehicles and support the tech start-up in the development of software and hardware for setting up charging infrastructure.

More than 6000 charging points across Europe
The software is already being used at over 6,000 charging points in Europe. The start-up's customers currently include 35 municipal utilities, energy supply companies and industrial groups such as VW, Vattenfall and Bouygues in Germany, Sweden, France, Switzerland and the Netherlands. The aim is to serve over 300,000 loading points throughout Europe in the next few years.
